Days 48 & 49 -San Antonio is really cool!

Saturday (Day 48) we were blessed with the chance to tour downtown San Antonio. We went first to the Alamo and checked out the historical value. After that we walked over to the River Walk and hopped on a River Taxi and rode up to The Peral to a farmer's market. After walking around there for a while we came back downtown and found a neat resturant on the River Walk to eat lunch. The dessert there was AWESOME and the waiter gave CJ one in honor of this ride.

After a nap back at the bus, we drove over to Lone Star BMX and the little brothers raced. Corban took home 1st in 6 & 7 Novice and Caleb 2nd in 5 & unders.  Cj was able to share about loveFAR and this ride with folks who were there while the other boys raced. We met some pretty awesome folks at the track!
Thanks to the owner, Billy, for hosting us!
Sunday (Day 49) CJ was invited to speak in two churches. He spoke in the New Heights service at Alamo Heights United Methodist Church at 9 & 11 and then he spoke at 6:30 tonight at First Baptist Church in Helotes. We are so grateful to the pastors who allow CJ to come and speak! We are also always blessed immesurably by the poeple at churches we visit!

While we have been here in San Antonio several news outlets have covered the story including the San Antonio Express Newspaper which we learned prints over 200,000 papers on Sundays. 4 TV stations have also ran the story! We are thankful and pray that this ride will gain even more exposure to the glory of God and that lots of money will be raised for the NCCS!!
