With the help of the nonprofit, loveFAR, a 9 year old boy named CJ Burford began riding his bike across the United States to benefit the National Children's Cancer Society on September 1st 2014. This is the official blog of the ride and it will follow with him as he bikes from Oceanside, CA to St Augustine, FL following the Southern Tier Adventure Cycling Route. Day 7 - REST!!
Today was the first of our rest days for this trip. We got up AFTER sunrise, ate a big breakfast, and chillaxed until church time. We joined the folks at Quartzite Alliance Church for worship and then came back to Holiday Palms RV Park to do some bike maintenance, take a good nap, and hunt wild animals. Overall today was the first day we have really just sat down and rested......and it was good!
